Mr. Yusuf Sayed holds the position as the CEO and Founder of YSay. He has acquired a BSc (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and an MBA degree from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. He has acquired +20 years professional experience gained in the South African Energy Sector, Boiler Manufacturing Industry and Management Advisory to the Professional Services Industry.
During his professional career, he has undertaken multimillion rand projects both in the Energy Sector and Boiler Manufacturing Industry, including first of its kind technology i.e the NID Dry Flue Gas Desulphurisation (FGD) Plant installed on the African Continent during 2004 – 2005. An Innovation award winner in 2015, for his contribution to a South African based Nuclear Power Station. His areas of expertise include leadership, engineering, advisory services, technology and innovation, social philanthropy, entrepreneurship, learning and development (facilitating and mentoring).
