YSay was appointed by NECSA to supply Nuclear Engineering experts for the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station Safety Reassessment (SRA III) Project. YSay was responsible for undertaking engineering advisory services which included consolidation, input and compilation of the Global Assessment (GA) Interface Analysis Report, GA Verification of proposed improvements, Assessment of Open Licensing Items including the Screening of Proposed Improvements. In addition, input, compilation and review of the Suitability for Continued Operation (SCO) report was provided as well as performing a review and revision of various safety factor reports.

The project entailed compiling the mechanical fatigue assessment report for the Polar Cranes located at Eskom, Koeberg Nuclear Power Station by evaluating the historical mechanical equipment operational use, impact induced from fatigue loading of the crane, review of the maintenance practices adopted for the equipment, assess the cyclic impact on the polar crane bogie weld assemblies, and to undertake a review of the applicable crane design codes and regulations. YSay was appointed to provide mechanical engineering consulting services and expert advice to Nuclear Structural Engineering (Pty) LTD for an assessment of the crane’s maintenance history, and selection of parts and components to be analysed for fatigue damage.

YSay was appointed to present the Design Thinking Course as a problem solving methodology to help learners find innovative solutions to complex problems. The course included showing them different steps involved in the Design Thinking process and the application of these principles to identify effective solutions to a problem.

Mac and Fisher Construction and Projects (Pty) Ltd requested the services of YSay to assist in providing their Leadership coaching and business mentoring needs to their company. One-on-One Leadership based coaching was provided over a period of 12 months to nurture and unlock the leadership competencies and capabilities in order to drive business performance. Key fundamentals of business management were also imparted, as well as the development of the expanded business model canvas and business action plan roadmapped for the company to effectively manage and sustain the business going forward.

YSay was appointed by Tasneem Chilwan (Pty) Ltd to provide business mentorship and leadership based coaching, to artist Tasneem Chilwan. The scope entailed providing one-on-one Leadership and Entrepreneurship development coaching over a period of 12 months, as well as, sharing of business insights and strategic roadmapping of the company from vision into reality.
